Novel Study (During Reading)

Themes

The novel that I read is The Ultimate Life by Jim Stovall. This novel is about Judge who solve the problem who is the Proper inheritance of Red Steven's heritage. There are 2 side who involved in this case. From Jason Steven and From Steven family (they is absurd. The writer isn't mention the character in there)

Examining character or plot development

Stanford A. Davis : in the beginning of the story, he character is Wise, Firm, and Considering his word before he speak up to the other. But, Sooner or later he became more curious to Red Steven's Grandson, Jason Steven.

Jason Steven : Red Steven's Grandson. He is the honest young man, nice, and friendly. He told everyone at the court about his past. 

Theodore J. Hamilton : The lawyer who defended Jason Steven. He is a patience man. He care about Jason Steven Because he is the old friend of Red Steven.

Sir L. Myron Dudly : The lawyer who defended Steven family. He is Smart in speaking but he really stubborn too. And he also arrogance to everyone in the Court. He tried to get sympathy from the Judge, Stanford A. Davis.

I think the story is make me want to read more and more. Argue between Sir L Myron Dudly and Theodore J Hamilton It's getting hotter. In Chapter 3, Jason Steven recounts his life after graduating from high school. Red steven teaches his grandson about working life. Then, Jason lived together with Gus Caldwell the friend of Red Steven. Jason help Caldwell to take care of his farm. And then Caldwell teach him how to make a fence. And Dudly mockingly said that making a fence is not enough to get the heritage of him (Red Steven). But Hamilton said "there is a Park in there. What do you think happened before the Park existed?" And Dudly said "Empty land". Unexpected thing is, Jason Steven who change it to the park. He just make a fence around the empty land. Then, Someone made a small pool in it, then someone planted flowers there, then someone gave grass seeds. So, Jason is inspired someone to change the Unimportant thing to Unexpected thing.

Summarizing 

The story of this novel is according to the Mr Hamilton beetween Dudly argument. Both of them has a smart speaking skill. And Jason told them about his life before Red Steven passed away. He work hard In farm, meet the Red Steven old friend and learn the value of Red Steven.

Comparing and Contrasting

The 2 lawyer involved. Mr Hamilton and Dudly. They are very reliable lawyer. But the difference of them is Mr Hamilton is a wise man because of his age. And Dudly is stubborn and arrogance.
