For today i'm gonna show you my plot analyzing in short story. i choose one short story that can be easily understand. the title is "The Golden Egg"...

Okay, let's not waste more time..Let's go

Here is the story

Once upon a time, a farmer had a goose that laid one golden egg every day. The egg provided enough money for the farmer and his wife to support their daily needs. The farmer and his wife continued to be happy for a long time.

But, one day, the farmer thought to himself, “Why should we take just one egg a day? Why can’t we take them all at once and make a lot of money?” The farmer told his wife his idea, and she foolishly agreed.

Then, the next day, as the goose laid its golden egg, the farmer was quick with a sharp knife. He killed the goose and cut its stomach open, in the hopes of finding all its golden eggs. But, as he opened the stomach, the only thing he found was guts and blood.

The farmer quickly realized his foolish mistake and proceeded to cry over his lost resource. As the days went on, the farmer and his wife became poorer and poorer. How jinxed and how foolish they were.

 

 

 

 

The Analyzed of the story

If we using a plot to analyzed the story, then first is the exposition or Setting scene. It is at first paragraph. In that story, the farmer and his wife had a goose that can laid golden egg every day. and then they always sell that golden egg for provided them a money so they can support their daily needs. Then, the problem is began when the farmer thought that why would he just take one egg per-day. when he can take them at once and make a lot of money. Then he asked to his wife, and his wife agreed with him. From here the rising action begin. At the morning, he brought a sharp knife and cut its stomach and hoping he found a lot of golden eggs in its stomach. this is the Climax. But unfortunately, he didn’t find anything and there is nothing he can do with the dead goose. His goose is dead and can’t laids a golden eggs anymore. This part is the falling action. And the final plot is Resolution. It’s because The farmer and his wife can’t sell anymore eggs and make some money or support their daily needs, they became a poor from day to day.
